Developing Artificial Intelligence knowledge and skills

The AISkills4CircularTransition project will explore the opportunities and challenges that come with this monumental new taskforce that is defining the new standards of business, through the implementation of a training programme on the opportunities Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Circular economy (CE) can offer to agri-food businesses.

The whole training programme aims at supporting the transition of European SMEs of the agri-food sector from a traditional development model to a circular one that will enhance the regeneration of skills and competences at the workplace and favours circular businesses and organisation models.

Promoting the digital transition

The project’s main goal is to sensibilize and train professionals from the agri-food sectors to the use of AI along the supply chains allowing a fair digital transition of their industries, with a specific focus on how AI could facilitate and help the implementation of circular economy principles.

An analysis of good practices of existing digital educational programme will be performed to support the consortium in tailoring a unique pedagogical framework, according to agri-food professional learners’ backgrounds and knowledge.

Implement training programmes on circular economy

There is an effective loop between the skill requirements and the skills availability, which will need to be synchronised in view of safeguarding jobs while at the same time strengthening corporate viability by enhancing the competitiveness of products and services within the new value proposition offered by the Circular Economy.
